FAQ

Question: Wi-fi or Bluetooth stop working on my MacBook 13 “/ 15” 2016 and later, or USB 3.0 devices connected to the adapter are disconnected. Where is the problem?

Answer: This problem is caused by interference in the 2.4GHz band. The possible solution is that you connect the adapter to the Mac’s Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) port on the left-hand side closest to you or use ports on the right. These ports are located farthest from the wi-fi antenna. Another solution is to use the 5GHz band and place the adapter as far as possible from your Mac monitor. More detailed information can be found here: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201163

Question: In Windows, some wireless devices (WLAN dongle or, for example, Microsoft Wireless Set 3000/5000) that are plugged into an adapter stop working or irregularly disconnect. Where is the problem?

Answer: Sometimes USB 3.0 ports are being interrupted with 2.4GHz wireless devices. The wireless device should be located outside the immediate distance of USB 3.0 ports and cables. So try to move your wireless device away from USB 3.0 ports and cables. For example, you can use an extension cable to connect a WLAN dongle or set.

Most of potential problems with the hub and connected peripherals can be solved by disconnecting the USB-C cable from your laptop/tablet and reconnecting it after about 10 seconds. In case of problems, please contact our technical support: support@itecproduct.com.
