Description
If you need to connect USB devices and peripherals to two computers and even want to share them between them, you’ve found the perfect solution. This HUB gives you an additional 4 USB ports (2x USB-A and 2x USB-C) that you can easily – at the touch of a button – assign to PC 1 or PC 2.
Connect an external keyboard and mouse, transfer data or movies from a USB flash drive at speeds of up to 5 Gbps, conveniently for up to two computers at the same time.
The hub requires no drivers to install, just connect it with a USB-C or USB-A cable and you can start using it right away. The hub has built-in surge protection for your computer in case of short circuits on peripherals.
An external USB-C adapter of up to 15W (5V, 3A) can be connected for higher power stability, especially if you want to use multiple HDDs or SSDs. However, the use of this adapter is not mandatory, and in most cases not necessary (NOTE: charging adapter not included).
Manuals
FAQ
Question: Some ports have stopped working, but other ports are working fine.
Answer: Fully disconnect all USB devices from the HUB and then disconnect the HUB from the host computer. Then reconnect the last USB device to the HUB first. If the problem persists, please contact our support.
Question: Is it always necessary to connect a charger to the HUB?
Answer: No. The HUB works in both passive and active mode (active charging of connected USB accessories). For active mode, a 5V charger (either 2A or 3A, depending on product specification) is required. This charger is not included with the accessory.
Question: The computer does not detect the device or the HUB does not behave properly.
Answer: Make sure you have the current drivers for the USB interface installed on your computer. You can find the drivers on the official website of your laptop/PC manufacturer.
Question: Connected USB devices are not working on the 2nd connected computer, how can i fix this?
Answer: Make sure that the correct host output is selected, KVM will not transmit USB signal to both host computers at the same time.
Question: My KVM HUB stopped switching between host devices, is there anything i can do?
Answer: Yes, try to disconnect everything from the KVM HUB and try to reconnect it after 2 minutes.
Please make sure that the host computer is ideally connected via the included USB cables.
Question: Can you connect docking stations or video adapters via this KVM HUB?
Answer: Yes, you can connect docking station on displaylink technology via this KVM HUB.
You can then switch between two different host computers while using only one dock.
Question: My wireless devices connected via KVM HUB are not working or its responsiveness is very slow, is there anything i can do?
Answer: Some wireless device might have troubles while used via USB HUB.
These devices should be connected directly to the host computer.
