FAQ
Question: When I disconnect the USB-C Power Delivery adapter from the dock, the monitor reboots and the USB device disconnects and reconnects.
A: In this case, this is standard behavior as described in the USB-IF Power Delivery specifications. When the adapter is disconnected, the docking station must reverse its charging direction and take power from the laptop. The moment the current direction changes, all connected devices will reconnect.
Question: I have a laptop with a USB-C connector, but it does not charge when the adapter is plugged in.
A: Make sure your laptop’s USB-C connector supports the USB-C Power Delivery profile, which is needed to charge your laptop via the USB-C connector.
If so, there may be incompatibility between the power supply and the connected device. ( In this case, please email us at support@itecproduct.com)
Q: Is it possible to charge devices that require less power than for example 65W via this USB-C PD adapter?
A: Yes, this adapter can be used to charge all devices that have a USB-C port and support power delivery profiles.
Question: My laptop charges at a maximum of 100W
A: If your laptop or tablet supports the new and advanced USB-C Power Delivery PD 3.1 charging protocol, the power supply will offer charging power up to 140W (if you have PD 3.0, the charging power will be up to 100W).
